Marshall Tucker Band Concert Contract 1975 Pensacola

MARSHALL TUCKER BAND December 11th, 1975 at Pensacola Municipal Auditorium, Pensacola, FL Original Contract, made on December 2nd, 1975. This is an original 1975 contract & rider acquired directly from Paragon Agency, a subsidiary of Capricorn Records which was the premiere southern rock label at the time. This contract is original and appears to have been signed directly by Tommy Caldwell, the original frontman until his tragic death from a car accident in 1980. Often these contracts were signed by an agent/proxy of the artist on their behalf so we can’t say for sure if this is his own signature but it looks like it is. The whole document is 9 pages long and stapled in the top left corner. The cover page is double sided, the other pages are one sided. It measures approximately 8.5″x11″ and includes details about fees, technical specifications etc. as well as diagrams of how exactly they wanted the stage to be set up for the show. Check out the photos to see a few of the pages. Like a lot of original contracts it includes corrections, alterations and staple holes original to the agency, as well as small creases and light shelf wear. If you’re a collector or just a big Marshall Tucker Band fan this is your chance to own a rare piece of rock history!
