This “Poster From The Past” is from 55 years ago going back to 1967, was designed to promote a poster show held at the upscale department store Neiman Marcus in Dallas,Texas that featured the work of various artists. In addition to promoting concerts for the Matrix Neon Rose series the artist also included commissions for posters advertising special events and art exhibitions.
The original poster was a large sized piece printed on white index stock and measures approximately 22″ x 28″. These totally beautiful Psychedelic posters can still be found around for a hundred bucks or so. Good score! It was created by the Master of Psychedelic Posters and Comix….. Big Five Artist Victor Moscoso.
It is number #21 in his Neon Rose series of posters, and was printed only once.
