Description

Cowboy Concert Contract

Cowboy

@ My Brothers Bar

Jacksonville, FL

May 3, 1977

Great piece of Southern Rock history as the band could be called one of Capricorn Records’ best-kept secrets during the genre’s golden age in the 1970s

Original

This contract was acquired directly from the Walden Family estate. The contract was kept in it’s current and original form from Capricorn Records and Phil Walden’s archives.

Its provenance is excellent and not a resold item from an auction or a reseller. Paragon Agency was a talent agency run by Alex Hodges and grew out of Capricorn Records success. Alex, who met Capricorn Records President Phil Walden while attending Mercer University, developed one of the most sought-after Southern music rosters that included artists such as the Allman Brothers Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Marshall Tucker Band and The Charlie Daniels Band.

We are selling a verified and documented piece of original music history. The signatures are either of the artist or f/s/o (for service of) the artist by written management agreement.
