Frank Kozik is a legendary San Francisco based artist best known for his posters for rock bands, pop art, vinyl toys and of course the Labbit.
Frank moved to the United States from Spain at the age of 14 and settled in Austin, Texas. Credited with single-handedly reviving the “lost” art of the concert poster, his creative career rose largely out of his enthusiasm for Austin’s growing underground punk rock scene in the mid-eighties. Starting with black and white flyers for friends’ bands, his reputation grew –– and he went on to create artwork for Pearl Jam, the Butthole Surfers, Green Day, Neil Young, Sonic Youth, the Melvins and many more.
I have bought about 20 pieces from Otto in the past couple years. His selection is amazing! It goes way beyond what's on the website - just ask. Otto has helped custom curate a couple rooms in my house including having photos printed from negatives. His packaging borders on OCD, shipping is fast, and Otto always adds in something extra. Otto goes so far above and beyond to provide great customer experiences that I wake up some days and shop in his online store just to start a conversation and see where the day will take us.
