The Marshall Tucker Band Concert Contract 1975 New Hampshire

$125.00

THE MARSHALL TUCKER BAND

April 26th, 1975

Keene State College Gym / New Hampshire

Original Contract, made on April 1st, 1975.

This is an original 1975 contract & rider acquired directly from Paragon Agency, a subsidiary of Capricorn Records which was the premiere southern rock label at the time.

This contract is original and appears to have been signed directly by Tommy Caldwell, the original front man until his tragic death from a car accident in 1980. Often these contracts were signed by an agent/proxy of the artist on their behalf so we can’t say for sure if this is his own signature but it looks like it is.

The whole document is 10 pages long and stapled in the top left corner. The contract is double sided, the other pages are one sided.

This contract has a cover note from Bunky Odom

It measures approximately 8.5″ x 11″ and includes details about fees, technical specifications etc. as well as diagrams of how exactly they wanted the stage to be set up for the show.

Check out the photos to see a few details. Fun stuff included in the rider, such as food and drinking preferences. Like a lot of original contracts it includes corrections, alterations and staple holes original to the agency, as well as light shelf wear.

If you’re a collector or just a big Marshall Tucker Band fan this is your chance to own a rare piece of rock history!
